Do I need a visa for Mexico?
Indian citizen holders of ordinary passports need a Visa to enter Mexico. All applications for Tourist Visa and Business Visa to travel to Mexico must be submitted to the Embassy of Mexico in India. Personal presence of the applicant is mandatory for the biometric process and interview.
Is there any visa exemption for Indian passport holders visiting Mexico?
Yes. Indian passport holders having valid Visa of USA, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom and Schengen state or valid Resident Permit of USA Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Schengen, Pacific Alliance (Colombia, Peru, Chile) DO NOT require a Mexican visa to travel on business, tourism, or transit purpose for a stay of less than 180 days as long as they present any of the mentioned documents at the point of entry.
What is the difference between a single entry and multiple entry?
One must carefully note what kind of entry is permitted. If the visa reads a single entry, its holder can only enter and leave Mexico once whereas, with multiple entries, he/she can enter or leave the country multiple times.
